# For producers

> How experiences are created, run live and put on air.

An **experience** is everything fans take part in around one match or show: a set of widgets, such as a poll before kick-off, player ratings at half time and a score predictor.

**Create it ahead of time,** from your own tools through the API. Dizplai Studio is coming soon.

**Schedule or cue each widget.** A widget is `scheduled` to open at a set time, or opened on cue. A new widget stays `hidden` until you make it live.

**Run it live.** While a widget is `live`, fans take part and results update every second, in your app and on air. Hide a widget to take it off fans' screens without losing its votes, and make it live again to bring it back.

**Close it.** A widget closes at its end time or on cue, and its result becomes final. A predictor is `locked` at kick-off, then `settled` when the final score is in.

**On air.** Results drive Dizplai's on-air graphics, so what fans see in your app and what goes on screen always match. Fan Zone messages reach air only after your team approves them, and only with the fan's consent.
